Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF)

The Daybreak group operates 8 six resident and 1 ten resident ICF-IID group homes in Dallas County. This program provides residential and habilitation services to people with developmental disabilities and/or a related condition. The ICF/IID program is funded through Medicaid. Financial eligibility is determined by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

How to Obtain this Service?

To receive ICF services an individual must be in need of and able to benefit from the active treatment provided in the 24-hour supervised residential setting and meet the Medicaid financial eligibility criteria and the Level of Care determination criteria.

There is not a waiting list for ICF/IID services and immediate placement may be available.
