Every March, communities across the country recognize National Disabilities Awareness Month â€” a time dedicated to honoring the abilities, contributions, and stories of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). What began as a movement to raise awareness has grown into something much more meaningful: a celebration of inclusion, dignity, and opportunity.
