Regional Vice President
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Lead and support Regional Directors, Program Managers, and clinical teams across multiple locations.
Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Represent the organization in community outreach, advocacy, and partnership-building efforts.
Ensure compliance with Texas Health & Human Services (HHS), Medicaid Waivers (HCS, TxHmL), and other regulatory bodies.
Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and cost-control measures across assigned regions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements. Ensure proper staffing, training, and retention strategies for all locations.
Implement policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of care.
Conduct audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans as needed.
Stay up to date with state and federal regulations affecting IDD services.
Identify growth opportunities, including new service areas and program expansions.
Build relationships with local agencies, advocacy groups, and community partners.
Collaborate with state agencies to advocate for policy improvements and funding.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
· Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience in IDD services, home and community-based services (HCBS), or a similar healthcare sector.
· Strong understanding of Medicaid waiver programs (HCS, TxHmL, CLASS, etc.).
· Familiarity with Texas HHS regulations and IDD service delivery models.
· Financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management.
· Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze operational data and implement strategic improvements.
