At Soto ALG, we provide support and health services to adults with special needs and their families in Augusta, GA. Our goal is to be a resource, helping families embrace a higher quality of life for their loved ones while creating a support network for every step of life.
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
Our residential services support individuals in small group settings of four or less in their own home or two or fewer with a family in a life-sharing arrangement.
Adult Day Services
Soto ALG offers Day Centers and Community Day Services which provide numerous community outings and center activities to increase community integration.

Soto ALG is proud to offer occupational therapy and speech therapy to special needs adults in Augusta, Ga.

Programs and Services
Residential Services
Community Living Arrangements (CLAs) are licensed homes for special needs adults that serve up to four adults aged 19 or older with a direct care team member present to provide support as needed. The homes blend into the community and are not readily identifiable as a group home.
Host homes are private homes of individuals or families in which life-sharing residential supports are provided. Host homes can serve up to two adults aged 19 or older in the home and are often compared to foster care for special needs adults. The residents share the lives and activities of the family they live with.
Adult Say Services
Our Community Access Groups create social environments where adults feel safe and welcome to express themselves while making new friends. Activities focus on improving social capabilities, developing self-help skills for more independence, and increasing each person’s ability to adapt to new environments so they can function more easily outside the home.
Prevocational services focus on development of skills needed to enter the workforce. Tasks revolve around compliance, attendance, task completion, time management and problem solving while emphasizing safety in everything they do.
Trained staff work with each adult to improve social abilities needed to work successfully in a team setting and feel more comfortable relying on themselves and others to achieve success.
Provided on a 1:1 ratio with participants, Community Access Individual (CAI) services give specialized training and attention to adaptive skills needed for a person’s well-being.
They work with each person at their own pace, helping improve social abilities, increasing connections in the community, building confidence in their abilities, and problem solving to overcome obstacles they may face outside the home.
CAI tailors daily activities within the community, creating a more comfortable environment to foster social growth and building friendships needed to succeed.
