Journeys Family of Services is a leading Idaho-based provider of services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) that supports clients with the design, delivery, and management or personalized treatment plans to help them lead their best lives. We are looking for a Client Relations Director to join our team!
Position Summary
The Director of Client Relations is responsible for creating new client relationships, managing relationships with referral partners, identifying and executing growth strategies in the market, and partnering closely with the operations team to ensure top-level service for our clients. It is expected for the candidate to devote four (4) days a week to be in the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interface with the state placement authority for placement, Department of Developmental Disabilities, Independent Case Managers and other stakeholders regarding referrals and placement.
- Review referral packets and call to gather information/set up visits-referral process management.
- Attend client meet and greets, coordinate pre-placement visits
- Facilitate transition and admission documentation and activities.
- Work alongside operations and clinical partners to visit and assess potential clients for appropriate placement statewide.
- Coordinate and facilitate communications amongst agency employees regarding census management.
- Initiate, coordinate, and engage in client and stakeholder activities including meetings and events.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and growth in the market.
- Assure that state standards are implemented related to client and stakeholder satisfaction, communication, and team interactions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives related to placement of new clients.
- Maintains regular attendance and timeliness in assigned duties.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work with CRM software.
- Self-starter, ability to work collaboratively
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior experience in IDD preferred.
- Prior sales experience preferred.
