DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees the maintenance and development of current programs and activities.

Monitors program improvement initiatives generated by management.

Identifies program training needs and ensures appropriate staff participation.

Develops and maintains cooperative relationships with community agencies and organizations; represents program at appropriate meetings and community events.

Participates in development of activities.

Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops program staff; manages schedules and workflow.

Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.

Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

Keep up to date documentation and complete required paperwork and case notes.

Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.

Provides teaching and emotional support to consumers and families.

Participates in continuing education to continually improve skills and abilities and stay abreast of current technologies/practices.

Participates in quality assurance and utilization review activities as requested.

Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with consumers, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Adjusts to fluctuating peaks in consumer flow, acuity, and other operational demands while maintaining a quality program.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Participates in working on floor aiding in programing goals and objectives.

Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Four to six years related experience or equivalent.
