Adult Day Services Manager
We are looking for: Full-Time ADS Manager in Canton, OH
Shift and Shift hours: Full-Time [Hours may fluctuate to meet operational needs]
Pay Starting at: $45,000 yearly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the maintenance and development of current programs and activities.

  • Monitors program improvement initiatives generated by management.

  • Identifies program training needs and ensures appropriate staff participation.

  • Develops and maintains cooperative relationships with community agencies and organizations; represents program at appropriate meetings and community events.

  • Participates in development of activities.

  • Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops program staff; manages schedules and workflow.

  • Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.

  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

  • Keep up to date documentation and complete required paperwork and case notes.

  • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.

  • Provides teaching and emotional support to consumers and families.

  • Participates in continuing education to continually improve skills and abilities and stay abreast of current technologies/practices.

  • Participates in quality assurance and utilization review activities as requested.

  • Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with consumers, families, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Adjusts to fluctuating peaks in consumer flow, acuity, and other operational demands while maintaining a quality program.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Participates in working on floor aiding in programing goals and objectives.

  • Participates in to and from services when needed. Transporting individuals

  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

  • Four to six years related experience or equivalent.

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards

  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
